This method removes the given record from the database.
OrientDB provides an SQL command called
DELETEto remove records from the database. However, sometimes you may want to do something a little more dynamic than simple deletion. For instance, a conditional deletion, where the record is only removed when certain conditions in other records are met.
Bear in mind that edges and vertices require additional operations to remove. If you remove either using this method, it can lead to inconsistencies in your graph. Instead use
removeEdge()for these record types.
<rid>Defines the Record ID.
