On May 20th and 21st, J On The Beach will take place in Malaga, Spain (a good enough reason to attend in of itself). It is a non-profit event focusing on Big Data that will bring developers and DevOps from all over the world together. This event is organized by Malaga Scala Developers, Yes We Tech, Malaga JUG & Databeers MLG. It is hosted by Valo, with the support of the province government of Malaga and La Termica. Luigi Dell’Aquila, OrientDB’s director of consulting will be speaking at J on the Beach, discussing the Graph aspects of orientDB and how it’s document store capabilities can be harnessed to optimize relationship management.
Luigi is not only the director of consulting at OrientDB but is also a core developer for OrientDB projects. So it’s no surprise why we chose Luigi to speak on behalf of OrientDB about graph elements of multi-model NoSQL databases and the advantages of OrientDB. It is these advantages that have brought fortune 10 companies from around the world to use OrientDB in production. Luigi will discuss why graph databases are at the heart of the multi-model revolution and why we’re approaching the end of NoSQL’s fragmented ecosystem where customers are forced to use multiple tools in their architectures. Benefits and compromises of this approach along with real world use cases will also be shared
