During his presentation Roberto will discuss OrientDB’s unique features and how it evolved from a Graph/Document noSQL database to a multi model architecture. He will delve into OrientDB’s ability to quickly perform textual and geospatial queries, performing live demos with real data and providing the demo programming code.
Roberto is a passionate software craftsman with more than 15 years of experience. He’s bneen a part of the OrientDB team since 2015, where he’s been charged with the design and development of ETL, JDBC-Driver and Lucene Full Text indexes. He’s worked for CELI/Blogmeter from 2007 to 2015, in charge of design and development for the near real time NLP infrastructure. As a programmer with deepJava and JVM knowledge, Roberto is able to develop multithread scalable applications and is focused on back-end, big data/fast data architectures.
